Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she started more intense training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a student, and being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups as well as choruses. After relocating to California in United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing traditional Latin American Music. She is passionate about performing, music, and the arts keeps her involved in local activities both as an artist and educator. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
