Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer is her second album that was that was released in the year 2018, and was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she was awarded an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The album was released on March 20, 2022 after a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to win won the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
